I bought a praying mantis egg sac for my garden in hopes of the offspring would rid my garden of grasshoppers...each sac is suppose to carry up to 200 eggs...didn't know that but I only saw 4 of them and only 1 grasshopper, which landed in my hair while I was watering...my screams could be heard down the block. They are kind of fascinating, the way they turn their head to look at you. I hope one of them laid an egg sac for this year...time will tell.Tuesday, October 5, 2010
